On the Devil’s Payroll You Are Always Overpaid

You Can't Overtake God

God’s abundance
Enables the agency of knowing when you are full
While the devil’s overabundance
Leaves you unprepared to exercise self-restraint
 
To wit
If I say
I’m stuffed
It means I’ve overindulged
Putting me out of action
For the time being
(And we are time beings)
 
So, indulge
As in partake
But don’t overtake
For while God gives and takes
The devil just takes and takes
Until you’ve been out of the action for so long
That when inevitably it’s time to take action
(Action being inevitable for the time being)
You have nothing left to give
Leaving you permanently on the take
 
Or, more to the point
Leaving you outside of time
For the time being
Until the end of time
When Moshiach ushers in
A time beyond time
