ARADHANA

I am stranded at the wayside of life,
A pilgrim lost in the hush of my heart,
Cradling silence, weaving sighs alone—
Oh, come back, joys of the distant past!

Fields of love once carved in tender strokes,
Have they withered beneath time’s restless tide?
Orphaned by the shadows of this journey,
Can the blossoms of love yet breathe anew?

In those days of innocent union,
When hearts wove warmth into the quiet air,
Shall the petals of memory bloom again,
Reviving the sunlit fragrance we shared?

When this fleeting reign of frailty wanes,
And my feet falter toward the unseen shore,
May I glimpse, in the twilight of farewell,
The light once held in the eyes of love.
