The Weather's aMiss

Remaining you desire, departure you must heed,
Unwelcome tidings, yet acceptance I yield.
Strong winds assail, high tides they bring,
Duck beneath, find bliss, serenity’s spring.

Not a mason of walls nor a fence’s embrace,
Endless prairies beckon and roads interlace.
A canvas I painted in days of yore,
Briefly appeared, claimed life’s rapport.

Lips, an ice cream’s delight they mirror,
Hair, waves bounteous, a flowing river.
Time, a patient friend I did deem,
When desires crafted, a wizard’s dream.

Release it to the universe, your fervent plea,
A masterpiece spun, set its spirit free.
Life’s currents, mysterious, may it restore,
One day, at your threshold, gently implore.

To your heart, grant ingress, don’t abstain,
Embrace the wonders destiny ordains.
