AN ODE TO LIFE
Upon the banks of Life’s endless stream,
We together tread,
Blowing soft kisses to the fading sun,
While blossoms of joy around us spread.
A river, vast as time’s embrace,
Carries us through morning’s glow,
With fragrance in the air, the stillness deep,
As silent winds through flowers blow.
The valley’s soul, serene and wide,
Whispers peace in its gentle tide,
Its coolness, a balm to the weary mind,
In this sacred place, comfort we find.
In the heart of this sacred earth,
Virtuous sons and daughters rise,
Like petals of purest bloom,
Their fragrance fills the azure skies.
Oh, let us place within their hands
The seeds of joy, the fruit of love,
That they may grow, unchained by sorrow,
And spread kindness through the heavens above
The future, rests in their eyes,
Untouched by grief, untouched by lies.
May they walk with hearts so free,
Guided by the light of the eternal sea
.
And when the final dusk descends,
We shall return, as all must do,
To rest our feet upon this earth,
And in the river’s arms renew.
On the Banks of Life’s River,
We walk through time’s embrace,
Blowing kisses to the setting sun,
As flowers bloom within our grace.
