The Demon Within The Glass

Admist the rain I saw a sprite.

A demon quietly whispering on a rainy night,

As it drew near I trapped it within a bottle,

When I closed it in it became angry and throttled,

“What is your purpose?” I screamed, my voice was shaking,

The rain was pouring the ground was quaking,

“Your soul I want!” The demon replied,

“Taste my essence and be without time!”

So I drank and drank until I was a shell,

My soul corrupted now bound to hell,

As the years they passed I forgot my name,

Lost my posessions, my family and became insane,

And when i drew near the end and my breath was last,

I realized I became the demon... within the glass.
