A Peculiar Light

Based on a true story

It was a quiet afternoon nothing special,
When the sky became bright it was celestial,
A floating light came and took the shape of a man,
Falling quickly i could barely stand,
My mouth made movement and words escaped,
“Is this death for my soul to take?”
The being answered with no hesitation,
Shook itself off to make better representation....

The wind.The wind is I,
I am the suttle breath you breathe before you die,
I am the truth lying dormant within the lie,
A grain of salt in the tear you cry,
The taste of heaven within the sky.

“who is it you may be” i muttered in great concern,
I have many names, now listen and learn...
from the stars our people came,
Created your planet, our name you shame!
“How can we change?” as my lips they quivered,
the being circled, my spine it shivered,
Unite all the tribes and don’t ask why,
“me? but i am mortal i was born and soon will die,”
Cast away your fear and take my hand,
To your d.n.a. I will add a strand,
“What do you mean?” You soon will know,
I will return but for now... I must go,
And in an instant the being was gone,
I began to float as my light grew strong,
I now know my purpose and am no longer imprisoned,
Heed this word “GOD HAS RISEN”
