Trembling kissing lips
Lips that want to kiss I render tribute to
a sign that heavens acted on your behalf
or perhaps the bait the devils sent
to make you drop the compass you need to sail on.
The snakes all living together
conspire against each other in the moments of peace,
but get united for a while while the storm hits hard.
With life conditions changing so often and unannounced
your friend today, your foe tomorrow,
allies today, tomorrow scum will be.
So I go back to where I started on this hot deserted island
longing for trembling kissing lips that mitigate my thirst.
