This Time
It’s not that I’ve turned bad you see,
But there’s something going on with me.
I can’t explain, it takes too long,
But know I mean to do no wrong.
Life has changed and things are tough,
And to some, I can’t apologise enough.
When one is hurt, angry or scared,
It’s no excuse to drag others there.
To change the past year is my biggest wish,
But that’s impossible and can join the list.
I guess when things hit all at once,
It’s hard to know which way to jump.
Looking at the big picture is the wrong thing to do,
You must start with the small things and see them through.
Start with the puzzle, one piece at a time,
And hope in the end, it will turn out fine.
Breaking promises is not an option anymore,
This time I’ll keep them and do it for sure.
Sometimes I’m right but mostly I’m wrong,
So it’s time to change that and time to move on.
