My Darkness
You’ve cast a spell,
Relieved the pain.
Before you,
There was no hope.
Everything in my life,
Blown up in smoke.
The tears would fall,
The pain wouldn’t cease.
Begging every night,
For someone to set me free.
Everytime I turn around,
I’m losing something.
I’ve fallen on the ground,
Reduced to nothing.
Looking for a shred of light,
Seeking for a place of refuge.
But I can’t get there without a price,
In the end I am left feeling defeated and destroyed.
There is no light for me to find my way through the dark,
Only obscurity.
There is no love to help me feel that spark,
Only emptiness.

Only silence.
There is no me,
Only us.
