... persists, because...

tragedy, rage and grief coexist, because we allow

I sleep with, insidious shadows;
Frightening apparitions,
Only I can see.

I have nothing left to bare,
I put too much poetry in my poems;
That too little life of me is left.

Tragedy persists,
Because of rage,
And rage persists,
Because of grief.

A chaos of a mind, in the dead of the night
With nothing but dreams, of unending felicity;
Lulling my beating heart.

Felicity is all but a pipe dream,
One I keep dreaming,
After too many heartaches;

I’m left rueful with my love,
Because everything I touch,
Leaves with indents and slashes,
And of them you already had too much.

Tragedy persists,
Because of rage,
And rage persists,
Because of grief.

Tragedy persists,
Because of rage,
And rage persists,
Because of grief.

The writer is angry about the world. There is so much sadness, pain and purposelessness. Grief leads to rage. And rage end is tragedy.
