Will Never Leave
I don’t know why there was so much blood and why I cried.
The beast didn’t even attack me;
I hurt myself when I fell.
It was the day me and my dad was walking to my mom’s job.
It was a nice summer day and everyday it seemed the walk become shorter.
But that day it seemed like it took forever.
I’d always look up to the tall white building my mom worked in.
But soon the building would disappear
as we turn down a block that takes us straight to it.
As walked I spotted a dog as big as a bear with a black collar.
No one was around the dog was loose.
Seeing how nervous my dad was I froze in fear.
The dog charged without warning.
I’ve already ran off not knowing my dad’s hand was out trying to grab me.
Without looking back I kept running
knowing the dog with the black collar was behind me
and the tall white building I couldn’t see right ahead of me.
I fell, and scrapped my elbow on the cold ground.
I don’t know what happened to the dog I can’t remember.
Ever since that day I never saw that tall white building again including the dog.
Now every day I see the scar on my elbow the dog that didn’t make.
