(Still) Love You
Love is the only word I can use to describe how I feel about you.
I’ve felt it from the first time to the last time we were through.
Though you are gone, and you’ve found yourself another,
I will feel the same for you today as I have any other.
Though in this darkened void, without you I still smile.
Just because I know that you’ve been happy for a while.
It may not be that I’m crazy, I may just be in love.
But who down here really knows? Only God knows from above.
The tragedy envelops me, makes me drown in tears.
I will go though it, over and over, while you’re gone for all these years.
Try to think that I am happy, wherever you may be.
Only I will know that I’m not because you are not here with me.
Sinking in my sorrows, for forever and a day.
Who really needs to know that there is no other way.
I may be insane, but it is all for you.
Because I still love you, even though we may be through.
