White Lily

Oh, white lily, full of purity,
You fill me with divine love;
With your beauty and incomparable spirit,
That shines like a beacon!

For my beloved I come to you;
You are my music, that helps my troubled heart,
Singing to you with my fondness through my voice,
For your immortal praises, the breezes speak.

Was once a tormented soul, now amourous;
My heart is gently comforted, by the way,
Of your existence, the sweet delight in the fields;
You are my first love, the first time I saw you.

Rejoice at every slight wind that touches you;
In them you dance with traditional dances;
Caressing every time that you are touched;
Your petals are tender to the touch, easily bruised.

Seeing you in your wondrous flowery meadow;
I become sorrowful, remembering the times of lost loves;
Now fortune has now changed its course;
Making my tears turn to sudden joy.

With your purity shining like a beacon;
You make the Sun jealous and fade behind the clouds;
Yet with a deep sigh, the Sun relents and allows you;
To outshine, for clearly there is none like a pure white lily.

I will abstain and dismiss every precarious thought;
For my heart, mind, and soul is abandoned all things;
To hear your gentle song, your thoughts said endlessly;
For now I am here for you; will forever near never to depart.
