The Path Unfolds

It is yours to take yourself to task,
What lies within you, belongs to no one,
The losses and wins, that are gained, do not bask.
Take yourself to task, for it is yours.

Be gentle as like the willow, that sways in the breeze,
It dances with the wind, yet stands its ground,
Its branches so supple, its heart at ease.
In the harshest of storms, it can be found.

Rise early, prepare for the day,
Do each day better than the last,
With every dawn, strive to find a new way,
Learn from mistakes, don’t dwell in the past.

As the rose loses its way, others take its place,
Yet fear not for the rose that has gone away,
Each bloom has its time, its moment of grace,
A new rose will bloom, in its own special way.

The journey is long, the road winding and sheer,
For each step you take, is a victory won,
Fear not the distance; your path in hope remains clear,

And with each dawn’s break, a new sun rises anew.
Though storms and winds rage, stands the mighty oak,
Even if lightning strikes, with such an amazing strength,
The oak will smile, for its roots run deep,
In a resilient cloak, unyielding it stands,

A testament to its life’s length.

In the mirror of self, find your own truth,
Unveil the facade, let authenticity uncloak.
In the end, it’s your own path to sooth,
For your life is but a solitary walk.
