Integrity

Being a solitary man, though is lonely,
Finds comfort in the stillness of the night,
And the quiet of his own company.
In this darkness, he’s able to be free,
To think his own thoughts, to forge a new path.

There is a weight that he carries with him,
A heaviness in his soul, an ache that won’t subside,
The integrity, a longing for truth,
Continuously searching for authenticity,
In a world that’s gone astray.

He walks alone, often lost in his own thoughts,
Always finds the way back to reality,
He’s a wanderer, though not aimlessly,
Has a sense of purpose, an objective path of direction.

For in the end, it’s not about what others think or care,
It’s about what he knows to be true,
With the strength that lies within, the fire that burns in his soul,
Will never be swayed by the doubts of others,
Can not be deterred by the challenges that lie ahead.

The world may try to test him, unwilling to be broken,
Will rise above the challenges, improving and becoming
More tenacious than ever before,
Is a solitary man, forged in the fire of determination.

With integrity, he’ll never surrender,
Will keep on moving forward, never looking back,
For in the silence, finds the strength,
And with each step, he gains more ground.

Despite of others with their petty envy,
Putting their obstacles through unjust cruelty.
He is willing to study and work hard,
Never giving regard to others’ jealousies.
