Expression of Euphoria
Love is messy
Dirty
Painful
Beautiful
Impossible
Delicate and yet infinite
And all of a sudden I’m melting into you;
Becoming one person with you
Feeling a happiness that only love can bring
All the cliches have sprung to life
Like electric.
And it is
Electric.
A fire roaring inside that was not ignited until now.
And I cannot think of a single, original thing to say
That hasn’t been said before
To express my euphoria
I can only stumble; trample
Clumsily
Over cliche old and new.
