Drunk Driving

One by one, the pong balls dunk
A couple cups and now your drunk
You graph your keys and head back home,
With your friends, of course, you’re not alone
The music’s loud, voices belt into the night
You’re distracted, feeling dizzy
So you swerve to the right
You hit a guard rail, you hit a car
You wonder how things got this far
You hear screaming, you feel heat
You crawl out of your car and struggle to your feet
You see blood as you look around
your worlds gone silent, you don’t hear a sound
You see your friend trapped, he’s knocked out
But you’re not strong enough to get him out
You stand in shock, the scene is set
There’s nothing you can do
but watch your friend burn to death
The ambulance arrives, but its too late
The passengers of the other car have also met their fate
One car is burning, another completely smashed
This wouldn’t have happened if you hadn’t driven trashed
While being checked out in the hospital, you are told
You killed a woman and her 8 year old
A man lost his wife and son, you lost your best friend
Youll likely end up in jail
Facing 20-life
You should’ve thought twice
Before you decided to drink and drive .
