The Lines He Drew
A line unseen, he drew around his soul
To guard the quiet corners of his mind
When tempests rose and threatened self-control
He left the noise and sought the peace he’d find
Boundaries he built to shield his heart
To safeguard from the world’s relentless strain
No more shall he be ever torn apart
He wrapped his feelings tight to mask the pain
For he was hurt, his scars still not yet healed
The flood of emotions overwhelming
To save his sanity, he held a shield
One more blow could still be devastating
Let those firm walls remain—built out of pain
They hold him up where none could long remain
