Nightfall

The sun makes way,
Makes way for the night hours.
The light becomes black,
And the daytime falls away.
Nothing is what
The light becomes.
The sun dies,
As the moon conquers,
A full moon,
Lights the night
with darkened glares.
I love the dark,
And adore the shadows,
The emptiness of the night
Is my sacred place,
To hide from
The treacherous day.
