Hip Hip, Hurrah
Hip hip, hurrah! We raise our glasses
as the Brits are gone and this day passes.
We won our independence from British rule
for today and the oncoming days all through.
We will always remember this day in July
as we lift our pride and heads up to the sky.
From our guns firing and cannons blasting,
we have our independence to be forever lasting.
