To Jim Mackenzie, after a long hard battle with cancer unfortunately cancer won.
Your memory lives on

A face we all loved is missing,
For you to come back is what we are all wishing,
The tears in our eyes will not go away,
We all just want you back to stay,
God seen that you were tired, a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you, and whispered “come to me”,
He knew that you were fighting and in so much pain,
He knew that you would not be well on this Earth again,
If love alone could’ve saved you, you never would’ve died,
We’ll all miss you so much, a million times we’ve cried.
Jim Mackenzie was a strong and wonderful man,
Try not to worry as all of this was part of God’s plan,
Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears,
God took him to a better place, with no worries and no fears,
Although it seems hard now, I believe a light will shine clear,
And when the storm is gone a rainbow will appear,
Rest in peace Jim for now you are free,
You will be much happier, just a shame we can’t see
