**An Echo’s End**

In the void of silence, whispers fade,
As faith and hope their wings have shed.
All grandeur echoes, but soon must pass,
Leaving naught but emptiness, a solemn mass.

Beliefs embraced, like clouds adorned the sky,
Now swiftly vanish, as dreams take flight.
Expectations shattered, scattered like dust,
Leaving a vacuum, a void of trust.

For in the tapestry of life’s grand scheme,
All that is woven must eventually gleam.
Yet, sometimes, threads of hope unravel fast,
And dreams dissolve, a transient cast.

Like flowers that bloom, their beauty wanes,
And in their place, remains a somber pain.
So, too, our hopes, like petals fair,
Wilting and dying, leaving only care.

Yet, even in the darkness, a spark may gleam,
A glimmer of resilience, a guiding beam.
For from the depths of loss, strength can arise,
As we forge anew, with weary eyes.

For in the journey’s end, there lies a choice,
To mourn the past or embrace the voice
That calls us forward, with hope renewed,
To rise above the ashes, as the game concludes.
